Steve Walsh moved from Australia to Oregon years ago. He has been very active in SEIU Local 503.
He not only fought for members’ rights as steward, he is a genuine anti-bullying champion.
A brain tumor will probably take his life. Had he stayed in Australia, he would have had national health insurance and not put at risk his family’s ability to live while receiving medical treatment.
But he live in the U.S. where medical costs overwhelm families.
