Targets As Teachers
Lessons from Veterans of Bullying Wars
Targets as Teachers
For the WBI Targets As Teachers project, brave volunteers with past bullying experience told their tales to provide teachable lessons for newbies. In their own words.
The hope is that visitors to this site benefit from hearing that
- An End To Bullying Is Possible
- That You Are Not Alone, And
- That You Did Not Cause The Misery You’ve Had To Endure. So Listen And Be Inspired!
To date, the individuals on record are:
- Joleen, a former federal worker who suffered unconscionable health harm.
- Lisa, a woman who worked in a male-dominated industry and faced owner-driven assaults from another woman.
- Chris, a man with two women supervisors and a male manager in an office setting.
- Amanda, a college administrator with extensive supervision. Her bosses were two women.
- Laura, a woman who shines light on a reality about coworkers and confirms the fecklessness of HR.
- Lewis, a grant-funded research scientist at a university. The bully was a peer at another university.
- Clara, an elementary school teacher physically injured on the job, hated for her advocacy for her students.
